Nils Tellier, PE
Founder
Mechanical Engineering
Nils Tellier, PE, graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder with a Mechanical Engineering degree.
In 1992, he was tasked with implementing remote transmission units for industrial gas plants across the USA, and he performed one of the first remote tunings of a nitrogen generator.
In 2004, he directed the development of enterprise database software for electric utilities and, in 2009, a wholesale electric market exchange software. He wrote the algorithms for both operation-critical software.
He founded EPSIM in 2012 and joined forces with Dr. Campos in 2018 to develop and implement an inexpensive yet highly customized data reporting service.

Francis Campos, PhD
Senior Engineer
Francis Campos received a PhD in chemical physics from Purdue University and did postdoctoral work at the Joint Institute for Laboratory Astrophysics in Boulder, Colorado. He then spent 24 years as an engineer developing and manufacturing magnetic recording heads for data storage products. His interest in improving the analyses on which decisions were based while adhering to shrinking budgets led him to develop customized calculations and visualizations using freely available statistical packages. He is now independently providing cost efficient, customized analysis to EPSIM customers.
